  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Blaeberry Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated, well equipped and is wonderfully light and airy. All the beds are super comfy and being away from any roads, you’ll get a fantastic night’s sleep. With its elevated position, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Ireland, Gigha, Cara, Islay and Jura, absolutely magnificent. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to any family. A real gem from which to explore Kintyre and the islands.

  • A nice cottage, well presented - though actually it's worth it for the view alone! Spectacular vista of Gigha, Islay and Jura with sunsets (if you're lucky, like we were) that don't come any better. Lovely beach too, just down the hill and across a field - great for early morning (bracing!) swims and evening barbeques.

  • Amy and Keith were the perfect hosts, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. The view from the accommodation was outstanding across the sea to Gigha with perfect sunsets. The accommodation was first rate with everything you could want. I would highly recommend the accommodation and we will be visiting again.

Killean Estate is conveniently located on A83 between Tarbert and Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula. Reach us in 2 1/2 hrs from Glasgow Airport, 3 1/2 hours from Edinburgh and in approx. 2 hours from Oban.
