Our seven self-catering cottages can be booked separately or for larger groups. They are the perfect solution for those who enjoy each others’ company but value their own space. We can sleep 32 guests across seven cottages. Each cottage accommodates up to six guests comfortably with up to 4 bedrooms.

Located halfway between Tarbert and Campbeltown, Killean Estate is the perfect base from which to explore Scotland’s Adventure Coast. Offering everything from wild swimming and walking to whiskey and wildlife.
If golf is your thing, Kintyre offers no less than five fabulous golf courses, including the world-renowned Machrihanish championship course.
If you love to keep active then surfing, cycling and paddle boarding are just a stone’s throw away. For those who prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace then sit back, soak up the great outdoors and all that this beautiful part of the world has to offer. Come, see for yourself!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Blaeberry Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated, well equipped and is wonderfully light and airy. All the beds are super comfy and being away from any roads, you’ll get a fantastic night’s sleep. With its elevated position, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Ireland, Gigha, Cara, Islay and Jura, absolutely magnificent. A real gem from which to explore Kintyre and the islands.

Blaeberry Cottage -
A nice cottage, well presented - though actually it's worth it for the view alone! Spectacular vista of Gigha, Islay and Jura with sunsets (if you're lucky, like we were) that don't come any better. Lovely beach too, just down the hill and across a field - great for early morning (bracing!) swims and evening barbeques.

Honeysuckle Cottage -
Killean Estate were the perfect hosts, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. The view from the accommodation was outstanding across the sea to Gigha with perfect sunsets. The accommodation was first rate with everything you could want. I would highly recommend the accommodation and we will be visiting again.
